1. Let me guess, this will lead to FAX THE SENATORS w/ this info!
This blasting was already done Garybeck. Didn't you know?

3. You have called for blasting...
on other threads and completely ignored DUers concerns about it. When a few posters cried out to stop blasting in one thread, your response was to re-post the pen.us link two more times. You completely ignored the complaints. Why?

4. I should have added that the new exit poll data was already blasted.

5. what's your beef?
I don't even know what exactly you mean by "blasting."

Someone else started a post about using the Judiciary Committee's email box to encourage congresspeople to contest the electors.

I reponded urgently because I know for a fact that they don't want people to use that email address for that purpose. In fact it was clogging their email inbox and preventing them from receiving fraud testimony and evidence.

That's all I did. When people kept replying saying that they were emailing the committee, I responded a few more times asking people to not do this.

when the original poster changed the wording of the thread, i stopped.

I don't see anything wrong with what I did. I think it was important to stop people from emailing the committee like that.

I don't see how that is blasting either, but I guess I don't know what blasting is.

For whatever I did, I guess now I'm eternally condemned and anytime I post any message you're going to criticize me for blasting?

I hope this is just a misunderstanding. Aren't we all in this thing together?

6. There are freepers asking people to "blast"...
...meaning pounding congresspeople, senators and the media with faxes & e-mails. Obviously some unsuspecting and well-meaning DUers are caught up in the excitment. Maybe you were one of them (well-meaning DUer). I just found it suspect that you didn't address anyone who was crying foul. Even as one poster wanted the thread locked you kept posting the link. Perhaps you didn't see the reponses. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

There are, however, several posters (I won't name them, but I know who they are- you I just wondered about) calling for blasting and they always seem to appear together on these threads. They never respond or answer questions. They call for blasting over and over often hiding the call behind unrelated titles (hence my first assumption). It's really obvious & it's pissing me off. Don't worry, you're not "eternally condemned". Sorry, no harm done?

7. OK, but I still don't get a few things about your response
You seem to be saying that only the freepers are trying to get people to call, email, fax their senators, and that we should stop doing that?

If "blasting" means to encourage people to contact their senators and ask them to contest the election, personally I think we should continue doing it all the way up until 1/6. We should just make sure we do it to the right place. Why would we want to stop?

In regards to the "blast" post from a few days ago we've discussed, I think you'll see that one person suggested to put a lock on the thread and I asked how to do it. I really wasn't ignoring anyone, I was just trying to get people to stop using the Judiciary committee's email address improperly.

I guess I'm still missing something about your concept of "blasting". When I asked about the exit polls you repsonded that it's "already been blasted... didn't you know?"

I think you have to consider a few things.

Everyone doesn't stay on DU 24 hours a day. Just because something was "blasted" two days ago doesn't mean that people shouldn't ever discuss it again.

Also, I don't think blasting is a one-shot-deal. In regards to 1/6, people are correct in reminding everyone to do it. This is really important. I think we should keep blasting until 1/6. Better to send too much correspondence than not enough. there are a lot of people that still don't know what's going on because of the media coverup so we need to make sure that everyone who is aware, is doing what they can to contact their senators. Do you not agree?

Lastly, I don't understand your theory about the Freepers putting up the blasting posts. I'd think that a Freeper would be against having a senator contest the election. Why would they post messages here telling people to contact their senators and asking them to contest the election?

I guess this is just a misunderstanding, but I'm still confused.

peace,
gary

8. In a nut shell
a targeted office receives hundreds or even thusands of faxes containing the same info clogs the system and prevents other info from getting in. In effect, it shuts down the line of communication. An old tactic. Delegates were supposedly sent to senator's offices to encourage them to stand up, they received letters from Conyers and I'm sure they are talking about with others as well.

9. I don't know....
it was thousands of people flooding nader's fax machine that got him to ask for a recount in New Hampshire.

Personally I've always been in favor of having people use their own words to contact their own senators. I don't think we should stop doing this.

12. thank you :)
I actually had already seen that... when it was first posted, someone said it had been available all along, but no one had paid attention to it. That's why I was wondering if there was something else because I read that new data became available on 12/31.

this entire thread has been rather silly.

13. I also favor using own words and sending letters
of course, it's too late to send letters by post. I agree it is good to contact our representatives (and I have), but not in the "blaster" method. Either way, hopefully someone will stand up to the election robbery. And hopefully the exit polls will be looked at seriously by anyone who can make a difference.
