2. now talking about Bush "mandate"
talking of the corporate industry and Bush coziness with them.
Work place safty standards rolled back;
Unions will be special target of second term-as they were in first;
Strip federal workers of Union rights-privitizing Federal workers;
Social programs will continue to be targeted;--the programs that humanized our government! programs that made it possible to live a respectful life-low income housing has virtually been destroyed;
Real target is the Social Security program!!!!--the third rail--All these programs helped reduced inequality in America:--sly and sneaky way of undermining SS program--saying it will not be there for you--but sound till 2075!! BushCo has made it about the "crisis" of the program and Americans believe it!!--and may be ready to 'fix' it!
Result has been increased poverty in America!!

3. She's Terrific! (On the east coast too...)

Now she's talking about the analogy between the pre-civil war period and now (a lot of people have been doing this of late).

6. Listening too -- she is saying she doesn't know whether this election was
stolen or not - says there is contradictory evidence, but the dems are not going to demand another count of the Ohio vote.

1. They held is back until now.
2. Someone at CSPAN is on our side.
3. They take no side, but think something's going to happen on the 6th and want to say they were on top of it.

"About half the country voted for this guy. That's a problem." LOL!!

10. It's amazing the response to the gender gap question from a
woman in the audience. She said she needs to see the data before she believes that more women voted for Bush this time around! Also said they could have been responding to the fear baiting, but she really needs to see the data before she can make that assumption!

12. she also said there was a gender gap--but it was smaller (although, as
you said, she wants to see more data (recall only 7 days after the election).

11. "non-violence" NOT a necessary rule!
Says it is violent country. "they" will call us violent if we break a window"!!
Reality check--George Bush does not care about our protests!!
A student in the audiance says the protests were on hold during the election--We banked on the election!!
