Thanks for the great graphic, makes me feel like I'm out there celebrating, but my feet are warm!

6. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I just woke up my daughter, she's 4, to watch the countdown to the ball drop and then we went out on the balcony and there were fireworks everywhere, and firecrackers - and neighbors banging pans and blowing horns.....it was so great!!!! Awesome experience, sadly might have been my first new years (except for her first year) with my daughter, b/c usually I like to go out on New Year's Eve and drink....cept tonite i decided to kill 2 birds with one stone! w00t

it was so great.....this and 4th of July are my favorite holidays ever....such a feeling of unity and synchronicity.

8. Faye, I let my 5-year-old sleep

He'd been sick... and I let him stay up late to play DVDs. We're behind the times. Just got one from Santa and I set it all up today - all the VCR, DVD, stereo equipment, etc. is all connected now (yeah, my Dad wouldn't let me move outta the house without learning how to set it up).

I hadn't set everything up before - because I don't watch so much TV, but he seems to like this whole "miracle" and Harry Potter movies. :) His new year was all this special stuff Mommy grumbled over for an hour. LOL!

Kiss your little 4-year-old - they're so cute at this age! :)
