1. Wow! Now that was fun to read. Conyers sounded more heated
than I've ever seen or heard him.

I think the last week of 2004 will be a long one for Shrub Inc.

:)

10. Holy shit!
And the FBI agent has a name. Anyone have any insight into how open this agent has been to investigating and not merely trying to close the books on this?

12. Congressman Conyers and staff are definitely paying...
....attention to all the details that numerous folk are providing.

And, I'm sure that lovely quote by the Green Party County Coordinator quoted on a conversation about Triad:

"The Director for Fulton told me that Triad is able to reprogram the computer to count only the Presidential ballots by remote dial-up. I do not know when after the election that occurred." "County officials were cooperative."

http://votecobb.org/recount/ohio_reports/counties/henry.php

Or when during the night of 2/3 Nov 2004 it occurred!!!! '-)

That is such a revealing statement!!

16. How convenient for Triad technicians
They don't have to drive to every tabulator, they merely have to dial-in. Heck, they don't even have to report the actual vote counts, they merely have to make them up.

Ain't technology wunnerful?!

Bring on Triad. It's gonna be fun to watch.

14. I would also like to know
why Triad had kept posted the election results on their website between the hours of 11 p.m. and 1:33 a.m., which is when the polling company's computer supposedly crashed and results were not being updated to subscribers.

29. What if they just don't respond
I'm worried that they're just going to stonewall on this, just like Blackwell did to Conyers letter.

They'll send back a letter with no real answers.

Then the press will report the hearing on the 20th as proof there was no tampering.

I could be wrong but I don't think Conyers "investigation" has any legal status. I don't think people are legally bound to answer his questions. In order to force answers, I think there would have to be a lawsuit.

I love reading Conyers' letters and I think he's an incredible person. I just wish the letters came with a legal requirement to respond. Like if he was acting on behalf of the GAO, or a lawsuit with subpeona power.

31. While Conyers is not conducting an official investigation ...
... his work is leading the way for those who are authorized to lawfully obtain subpoenas in order to obtain discovery.

30. I especially liked the question about remuneration.
Please note which if any of the 41 counties Triad services
for election matters contacted your firm prior to the recount.
Was there any cost associated with your services concerning
the recount? If so, how were such costs paid for.

The answer might prove to be very interesting indeed. :)
