I was away all day today and didn't get on until 11 tonight but
when I checked my email I had one from a friend, who was a bit upset with me. I signed a petition from HERE, the DU website, sometime yesterday (to have the electors postponing their votes or at least considering carefully before casting them on Monday). Not only did I sign it, I emailed it out to all of my friends. My friend wrote back and asked if it was some kind of sick joke. I also had another friend who said, 600 votes, I am not impressed. I began going back through posts from yesterday and cannot find it anywhere. I still had the link because I had sent it out from Outlook so I went to see what she was talking about. OMG! Was I the only stupid one who fell for this? No wonder there are still so few votes! I need to know if this was a legitimate petition at any point in time. It certainly seemed noble enough (though I had a Rep sign right before me who made stupid comments). I feel like an idiot - mostly because I forwarded it on. I received an email from Petition online saying it received my signature but I don't know if that means it was ever legitimate. If it was, it is surely ruined now.

Can someone let me know if you know anything about this? Thanks.
