Some of you people need to open your eyes.
It was obvious.
I know you are all mad much like myself that kerry didn't win,,
BUT IM SEEING THREADS LIKE "SCREW KERRY" what kind of attidude is that???

It's not kerry's fault he didn't win, in the 51% of stupid americans fault that we didn't win.

Ohio was obvious, that there was pretty much no way he could win it,
As much as i didn't wanna believe it, i accepted the fact because that's all u can do.

7. The point is
Kerry is being realistic. There was really no way he could win.

My angst is so high right now, but kerry did what he did. It's reasonable and realistic.

Maybe he should've waited till all votes are counted but realistically there's no way he could've won

THANK YOU 51% OF AMERICA FOR BEING !@!@@@ RETARDED.

6. I agree. THIS is why Democrats lose so much.
Because we eat our own.

We should not blame Kerry. We should blame the 58 million redneck moron Bible thumpers that voted for Bush.

9. I think we need to stand together, now more than ever.
Make your anger count. Don't let this sadness be in vain. And above all- please don't turn on each other. Divided we fall. I think that is exactly what those fuckers who stole the election want. Imagine their surprise when they realize this has only made us stronger.

They may have won this battle. But Goddamnit, the War is FAR FROM OVER.

Look at reality

Even with 200,000 mathamatically he wouldve have to win 93% of the provisional's. That is impossible.

It's obvious that this election was fixed and Bev Harris was right!!!! This election was fucking stolen. And our leadership is letting this happen.

I fired off a scathing email to johnkerry.com pleading with them to reconsider their decision.

Perhaps a mass of public outcry might change his plans. We have till 1:00pm EST, right?

17. You are correct.
The system is broken. Kerry realizes it. Why don't we?

How does he get a fair shot at a recount? The media is against us. The courts are against us. Ultimately, what's to recount? electrons?

I suspect that Kerry folds now because he can't win this game when the house holds all the cards and they cheat. Is this the end? Maybe not. Perhaps there are other things afoot that will play out which may not be obvious to us at this moment.

19. It's more than that...
In 2000 we felt screwed by the process....votes not counted, reports of fraud and other stolen votes. It was devisive and manipulated. And we vowed not to let it happen again.

But it did.

Massive reports of voter fraud and intimidation....missing ballots.....all things to be honest, we saw coming...and we were preparing for it. And then came the results....odd odd numbers, to say the least. SOmething was up. But we were preparing for that too.

But as it turns out the Democratic party has no spine....there are SO many areas to challenge here....but the Democrats are basically saying; "ok, they got us again. Oh well". They are letting it slide. They are letting the fundamental right of all of us to become quaint passing notion that WE decide thing; that we have a say. It's wrong...it's SO wrong.

John Kerry was their leader....their nominee.....he said he would fight for us, for ALL of us. And the bottom line is that he lied. He rolled over for some unknow reason, only lending credibility to the vile people who questioned his commitment to our country. And in the end, the leader should get blamed for what's happened.

Will I still vote Democrat? Of course. It's too dangerous not to. Will I still give money to them? Probably. Again..it's too dangerous not too. But today I feel a little betrayed by my own party...very ashamed of this country....but mostly I have lost a lot of respect for Kerry. He talked the talk, but he didn't walk the walk.

20. Though the temptation is strong to
lash out at Kerry, the Dems, and each other, and I don't understand why he is conceding defeat before all the votes are counted, but as I sit here with tears streaming down my face, over our shameful loss, I am looking not to pin blame, but for comfort and solidarity.

We did what we could. We did our best. Our democratic republic has been overthrown by a fascist dictatorship, with only the final moves for them to make and "Check".

But instead of cursing our fate and others who have fought the fight bravely, and some even with great heroism, the words of Martin Luther King , Jr. ( speech from 25 March 1965) bear repeating:

" My dear and abiding friends, Ralph Abernathy, and to all of the distinguished Americans seated here on the rostrum, my friends and co-workers of the state of Alabama, and to all of the freedom-loving people who have assembled here this afternoon from all over our nation and from all over the world: Last Sunday, more than eight thousand of us started on a mighty walk from Selma, Alabama. We have walked through desolate valleys and across the trying hills. We have walked on meandering highways and rested our bodies on rocky byways. Some of our faces are burned from the outpourings of the sweltering sun. Some have literally slept in the mud. We have been drenched by the rains. (Speak) Our bodies are tired and our feet are somewhat sore.

But today as I stand before you and think back over that great march, I can say, as Sister Pollard said-a seventy-year-old Negro woman who lived in this community during the bus boycott-and one day, she was asked while walking if she didn't want to ride. And when she answered, "No," the person said, "Well, aren't you tired?" And with her ungrammatical profundity, she said, "My feets is tired, but my soul is rested." (Yes, sir. All right) And in a real sense this afternoon, we can say that our feet are tired, (Yes, sir) but our souls are rested.

http://www.africanamericans.com/MLKjrOurGodIsMarchingOn...

For those of us who fought hard to stop this, take heart in those words and know that there can be no peace for tyrants, no rest in tyranny. We shall overcome ...someday, just not today.

21. Right...last thing he needs right now is an attack from his base.
He fought the good fight. The results sicken me too, but don't turn on Kerry. Recognize that this is different than 2000, and the votes apparently just aren't there.

22. Let's all face it
We have lost the battle. For those of you still hoping for a miracle that somehow someone will break news of massive election fraud around the country, I hate to burst your bubble, but OUR CHAMPION HAS THROWN IN THE TOWEL. The American people will think that this concession means that the election was conducted fair and square, so the allegation of fraud will not have any impact.

Listen, as long as we are still active and fighting, we can still make a difference in the future. We should channel all of our disappointment and bitterness into something more productive? We need to reform the dem party, and start rebuilding. Let's not all sit around and cry. Come on, the road to 2008 starts today! Remember what MLK said: "What doesn't destory me makes me stronger!"

CHINS UP PEOPLE!!!
