HA HA HA! Kilroy-Silk gets his orange ass kicked!
"Veritas leader Robert Kilroy-Silk failed in his bid to win a seat, slipping to fourth place behind the three major parties.
Mr Kilroy-Silk lost to incumbent Labour MP Elizabeth Blackman, who won re-election with a decreased majority.

The East Midlands MEP, who left the UK Independence Party to form Veritas, took nearly 3,000 votes, a 5.85% share. "

It still amazes me that that many people voted for him - clearest argument that I can find against democracy!

I need to know more about his orange ass, though, now you've left me with this wonderful mental image!

6. Was that the Paxman interview?
I saw that, and thought that it was absolutely typical of Galloway. I'm no fan of poodle-boy the Blairite "tony's cronies", but I would almost certainly have voted for Oona King to keep such as nasty piece of work as Galloway out of the House of Commons - his presence there will be a continuing blot on Parliament.

7. Paxman got kicked (and deservedly so)
> his presence there will be a continuing blot on Parliament

Ha!
You mean that the ability to speak his mind coherently & honestly
is a problem amongst the John Prescotts of the building?
Or maybe it's the inability to crawl when Blair sets out his "party" line?
Or is it that he dares to stand up to pretentious, bad-mannered chinless
wonders like Paxman?

I wish there were a few hundred MORE Galloways in Parliament as that
way there would be a damn sight more democracy than we've had for the
last couple of decades.

8. When did Paxman get kicked?
What I saw was Paxman ask a few simple questions of a slimey-toad who declined to answer them.

I suspect that the large majority of people who saw that interview will have come away with a lower opinion of galloway than before (in my case that really is some achievement).

Speaking his mind is one thing, purposefully inflaming racial-relations is another - I suppose that being able to do both makes him especially talented in your opinion.

9. You must have seen a different incident than I did then
Paxman was being his usual ignorant obnoxious self and dedicated himself
to repeating the same dumb question, trying to throw a racial slant on
a simple election victory.

All of the people who I have heard comment on the event came away
with a much better opinion of Galloway, several with comments along
the lines of "about time that someone had the balls to stand up to
that twat Paxman".

Galloway is no angel but if you want slimy toads, you have got about
630 to choose from in the House of Commons - the worst being found
around the top table at No 10.

Any particular reason why you suggest that I approve of "inflaming
racial-relations"? Was it just a random personal attack or have I
said something to offend you?

10. If you think that Galloway had a 'simple election victory'
I do have wonder which planet you are living on.

I certainly would not disagree with your categorisation of the members of the Cabinet as slimey toads.

My point about race-relations was about Galloway and in particular his choice of constituency - a most cynical move which may well have repercussions far beyond his 'simple election victory'.

The interview which I saw had Galloway insist that Paxman throw out any questions which he didn't like in favour of licking his arse - thankfully Paxman declined so to do.
