Tony Blair was heckled by the dad of murdered Red Cap Tom Keys after he said he regretted the loss of life in Iraq.

Reg Keys from Llanuwchllyn, Bala, stood up in the public gallery at the Chilcot inquiry into the war yesterday, and shouted at the former prime minister: “You’re a disgrace to your office and our country”.

Mr Blair had just told the inquiry he regretted “deeply and profoundly” the deaths of British troops and Iraqi civilians.

Other members of the audience jeered at his comments, with one person shouting: “It’s too late.”...
