What do you think of the Coalition's budget?
Personally, it's not a coalition budget it's a Tory wirtten and forced the lib dems to accept budget.

2. It's about what I expected ,,,
.. though Boy George's tasteless comments about the "workshy" in his sneery broadcast tonight were redolent of the worst excesses of Thatcherism.

I don't think Joe Public is going to be quite as stupid as last time. And certainly not as stupid as the wretched LibDems, who had best make the most of their last five years as a political force.

6. BTW, my neighbour often has his blinds drawn when I set off for work.
He's a nurse who often works nights.

Not for much longer, probably.

They were out in force today.

You could say that Europes governments were collectively repeating the mistakes of the 1930s except that Stanley Baldwin and his Chancellor Neville Chamberlain were not that stupid

If you believe the government can cut the UK to prosperity then I have a bridge in Brooklyn that you might like to buy.

Two wars and the overseas territories are still in existence.

5. The whole thing is a recipe for recession
Not that it bothers the Tories as it's the poorest who suffer most in recessions.

7. I think it stinks.
I could expand; but I'm tired and I think I've already summed it up - why be verbose?

Markets Live today

http://ftalphaville.ft.com/blog/2010/06/23/269291/markets-live/

Mass unemployment and stagflation predicted.

Interesting that City journalists, who are hardly a bunch of raging Trots, should describe Osborne's budget as grim, opportunistic and ideological.

Neither the Lib Dems or the Conservatives have any electoral mandate for half the proposals since they either failed to mention them or claimed they would oppose them in their election manifestos.

Well if these people want class war then it behoves the rest of us to give to them red in tooth and claw.

We will see wide spread riots before the end of 2012 just like in 1981
