1. Uk aluminum supplies suck
There are several american-AL-amazons... any aluminum product you want
delivered to your door.. overnight... web 'R us.... however in teh UK..
no no... state secrete it is... good luck.

Better to contact a middle"man" who will give you a markup and a shipping
cost to break your bank... and they wonder why entrepreneurialism is
weak in the UK! ha! The raw materials are hard to get, that its like
pullin' teeth... forcing entrepreneurial folks to be "rich" or to have
their own aluminum engineering firms.... same for brass, copper and steel.

But consider the american good fortune... want any metal bars or extrusions..
simply google up your overnight supplier and your visa card.

I wonder whether the inventor considered the alloys that are so common
today in aluminum supplies. As well, that aluminum acts as an anode
in galvanic decay, that it sucks the rust-proofing metals out of other
metallic substances.... all soo amazing... and sorely the language is
more than divides the pond.. rater supply chain competence divides the
atlantic as well.

2. Sir Humphrey Davy
abominated gravy
but lived in the odium
of discovering sodium.

He also invented the sacrificial anode; but although he named 'aluminum', he did not manage to isolate it, so his anode was made of zinc.
