The Conservative ads
Fuck sake, these people are so uncreative and lame. Those ads are terrible, and terribly insincere and cheesy. I wouldn't be shocked if they lost the election based on the inspired shit they're calling TV commercials.
That is all.

2. You would think a national political party's ads would
at least be have better production values than my local furniture store's ads.

4. Hey, can I make this about ad's in general...
...apprently all the people in the Liberal ad's aren't 'real people' either...no big suprise.

But yeah, these Conservative ads are down right lame. Harper is so wooden it isn't even funny. He's just a joke really. When your seen as a dork, you won't be PM...it's just that simple.

5. The Liberals are stealing ideas for their new Quebec ads
Liberals accused of plagiarism in new ads

I'm probably one of the three people who actually saw the improv games, I just watched the ad and it is a total rip-off.

6. They might work...

The people that are their 'targets' look up during the commercials and think it's legitimate network news; for the most part, their cheezy format doesn't look at first glance any different from the news sets of local network broadcasts.

The ads are attempting to plant the idea that TV news is inherently partisan and bias and the Tories/Harper are not getting their point across.

Mind you, that tagline on the LIberal TV ads...'you have 30 million reasons to vote Liberal' is grating if your not a Liberal supporter.

7. They are terrible. But you guys should see the Libs ads in Québec
Every bit as idiotic and condescending.

In fact, I'm usually of a mind that any ads by a political party is usually pretty bad and takes the voters for morons.
