Open letter to Prime Minister Harper...
This is a letter I sent after contacting the Public Safety Minister in Canada without success (which I posted on here). I sent this in June 2009, obviously my opinion of the leadership qualities has changed drastically since this letter was sent. It is no surprised that Canada was not voted onto the UN security council, we quite frankly live in the most policed state in the Western world, and this is by a wide margin. Obviously I did not expect necessarily a direct contact with the PM, but I did expect him to advise appropriately so that I could move on with my life, this hasn't happened.

Since the time of this letter, as anticipated in the letter (a year before it actually happened) I was fired from my job at a major bank (getting fired from such jobs is unheard of, it's akin to a union position) even after being successful in spite of the constant and obvious hurdles placed in my path (including a new manager and executive of my unit the same week of my hire). I have exhausted all efforts to come to terms, so now I go into overdrive with revealing details, pursuing legal options within our borders and with the UN (for which I received the number of nation support to pursue these charges). Thanks for your time and interest...

Mr. Harper,

It is with regret that I have been forced to send you this email. I have been left with no other option but to contact you and insist that there is some attention paid to my circumstance. I respect your leadership and like many Canadians I trust that you make decisions based on what is best for Canadians. As you read this email, I ask you to ask yourself, "what would I do"? under such trying and ongoing circumstances. I have been a supporter of Canadian intelligence, and continue to support those who work so hard to protect our freedoms, even as I myself have been a target of a few morally bankrupt individuals.

I have contacted both Mr. Day while he was in the position of Minister of Public Safety and last week, his replacement Mr.Loan, in an attempt to privately obtain some moral response from the Federal government. To Mr. Day's credit, although he did not contact me directly, he did get in contact with one of our (Canada's) intelligence agencies to attempt to alleviate the situation, that being said to this date noone has shown the character to intervene in my "case".

I do not wish to go into details, as you can easily obtain this information from Mr. Loan and/or Mr.Day, CSIS, RCMP or SIRC. Briefly, I have faced continued targetting and employment interference by intelligence in Canada. By going through the encouraged avenues to attempt to gain closure, I have faced little to no accountability from requests directed to RCMP, CSIS and a full blown complaint placed with the SIRC. After so many appeals I remain empty handed; this is nothing short of a travesty, especially considering my cries of innocence. Any so-called threat that I MAY have posed, if at all, was in the 1990's when I was a teenager/young adult and quite frankly, I was never a threat, though some make it their jobs to try and manufacture this belief that I was based on my political leanings.

I have not commited a crime, threatened anyone, been part of a hate group or any other political entity. Considering all of the real and legitimate safety circumstances faced by Canadians, I do not see how one can justify a use of budget resources to continue to target a hard working, honest Canadian who believes in democracy, freedom of religion and capitalism.

I went to unversity, graduated (with an award) and gained entry into my MBA program. I have also applied to the army reserves while in university (ironically even interviewing with an intelligence officer when deciding on a role in the military) and through hard work I have tried to contribute and build a life in Canada, even as I face the barriers placed by others.

The targetting that I have faced has included not so subtle threats (including one which included my sister who a child at the time) and character assassinations. I have faced interference at a former corporate employer, and now at a current corporate employer. Although the threats have stopped, the employment interference has not, and it continues once again at my newest employer. I would be quite happy to share the names of these covert operatives if required.

This will be the final time I will reach out to your government to attempt to gain some form of response. My request has been and remains the same; a declaration of my innocence and expression that I am not a "person of interest". Or, an explanation as to how some vital information collected by me (via a CSIS orchestrated Front Hotline Number) has been protected or remains private and not accessed by a "third party". As much as this request may seem daunting to address due to the sensitivity of the situation, imagine how daunting a task I face having to deal with this targetting (once again) while expecting people who claim to be moral and just, actually acting the part. If you have any other suggestions, I am all ears.

If I do not receive a response from you and/or your office in a week's time I will assume that you do not feel that my circumstances require your accountability or warrant your attention.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Regards,
