CFRA AM: Watchdog Drops Probe of Rosh Hashanah Cards

Jennifer Stoddart has dropped an investigation into complaints Prime Minister Stephen Harper mailed out unsolicited Rosh Hashanah greeting cards, saying she has no jurisdiction over the matter.

Stoddart says political parties fall outside Canada's two privacy laws.

Some Canadians complained they received Rosh Hashanah greeting cards from the Prime Minister at their home addresses marking the Jewish New Year.
