I am really troubled by the low support that Occupy Madison is being given

I know we have recalls coming up but by GAW the support that Occupy Madison is getting is really dismal. We mustered about 200 people for support of Occupy Oakland/Scott Olsen last Saturday when we marched down, up State Street and into the Capital Building. Madison Fright Night gets 25K and UW football game gets a 100K and OM gets a few hundred and there is something really wrong with this picture. The bottom line is that the shambles that Wisconsin NEOCON RAT TURDS have created is directly related to the Occupy Movement. Come on folks let’s get behind OM and show them that this is Wisconsin and field a mob in mass.

Where the hell is Union Support?

1. I'd like to think that the people and the unions are focusing on the monumental tasks of recall

2. I don't know that many people here who can afford to do
nonstop activism. And people are angry at the governor, but not at the business community in Madison except for maybe WMC... so I don't think the occupy movement fits us quite as well as the other protests that have happened this year. We did our part here in Madison in February and March by protesting the attack on state workers. Wisconsin will lead the way for other states by dumping Walker.

4. In fact, I like to think Occupy Madison happened in February.
In fact, I like to think Occupy Madison happened in February. We occupied the daylights out of Madison. I wondr how much of OWS owes its genesis to what we did back then.

Now? We need to be ready to get the sigs. From my inbox, it sure sounds like the machine is on the ground, revving its engine.

3. Saving my powder, so to speak, for the recall and hoping there
might be a rally around the kick-off time.

5. Part of it is that the earlier protests were so successful.

I think it's a challenge. Coming up with new ideas, not trying
to replay every event with routines from the same playbook.

Actually, some of the challenge is that THIS time, not all of
the complaints of the 99% will be straight-up Democratic party
standards and old favorites.

Instead of being as partisan as they were, a broader focus...

Or maybe sharper. Not just beating up on the usual suspects, but
putting some targeting lasers on real deep, root cause complaints
that a few middle of the road, apolitical & could-care-less types --
and even some brain-numbed, nominal republicans could understand.

edit add:

Or that's my take, based on one Saturday in Ziedler Park in
Milwaukee, and also from having followed some of Chris Hedge's
reporting from NYC, the last couple of weeks:
