1. Won't make it down till Sunday.
In the meantime, stay safe everyone. All it takes is some bat fuck insane Timothy McVeigh wannabe with a gun in the teabagger delegation...

2. I'm driving up tomorrow, so I have a question
Where would be the best place to park? I'm not super familiar with Madison, but I assume parking will be limited due to overwhelming attendance! Any advice/directions would be super appreciated. Thanks in advance!

4. Thats a tough one - depends when you get there.
All the action will be on the Capitol Square, which is where all the big parking ramps are. Those will be full early (maybe by 8-8:30am), and you really can't park on campus without feeding a meter all day. Probably the best bet is to pick a residential neighborhood - maybe to the east of the capitol either the north or south side of East Washington - and park on a side street. (Watch the signs so you don't get towed.) That way you can walk downtown from your car and maybe even catch a bus on the way back.

Somehow it gets done- we had 80,000 people packed into the 4 blocks west of the Capitol for the John Kerry rally in 2004 at 1pm on a Thursday... I parked in a downtown lot at 7:30am so I could be a volunteer and be within a few feet from the front. Probably a lot of people came in buses.

8. That's the plan I followed all week. Tomorrow bring a scrapper
for your windows and and dress for weather that could include sleet and snow.

I've been using the ones running from East Town Mall. The list says the run until 7:30pm, but I was there last night and they extended until 9pm

7. That's what I ended up using. It worked
That's what I ended up using. It worked pretty well, but there were lines 1/2 hour+ long waiting to board the buses, both to and from the Capitol. But that's actually more awesome than anything else. The line waiting for the bus at East Pointe was bigger than all the teabaggers put together!
