1. I think she's poltical toast anyway.

She can finish out her term but I don't see her getting re-elected even without the daily bashing from Right Wing hate mongers. The issue still has legs. The pukes will be watching her like a hawk. Her hypocrisy has put a target on her back a mile wide and there are more than a few dems, like me, thinking she should bow out quietly in 2006 when her term is up.

IMHO, she has one year to try to put it to rest. If she can, I'll support her. But I'm not holding my breath.

The group that recalled the Milwaukee county representatives wants to recall Lautenschlager. However, they believe that at this time there isn't enough disgust with her performance to get a recall passed.

Peg Lautenshlager made mistakes. Drunk driving is not a career breaker. The Pigs want it to be so but if we don't defend her none of our Dem leaders are safe. The state vehicle thing is absolutely junk because nearly all state employees use/abuse them to some degree. Mistakes are not good but she has done her job well and the Pigs want to make it appear she all bad. She needs support. Run from her and we can quit fighting whenever the Pigs 'Rent-A-Scandal' goons set up shop.

In any other elected position I would agree with you, it's not that big a deal. But Miss Peg, a strong and vocal advocate for .08 and defender of the laws of this state, can not do what she did and think no one should care about the republican style hypocrisy of it all, not to mention the sheer stupidity and arrogance of someone in her position thinking they should drink even one ounce of alcohol and then drive a state owned vehicle.

No, there are a great many Dems who won't let her off the hook for that and won't forgive her for putting us in the position of feeling we need to defend the indefensible, which is SOP for republicans.

The local AM station here in Sheboygan, (WHBL,) has local right-wing shock jocks, Hannity, Savage and then at night Coast to Coast AM.

Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger used to come to Milwaukee in the 30's to support the unions. I'm surprised there isn't more of a cry for liberal radio.

The station I listen to (WAPL 105.7) yanked Bob and Brian and re-instated the old Morning show team of Len Nelson and Rick McNeal after recieving so many cmplaints about those ass cantaloupes.

12. Dave and Carol - no more!

I listened to them for years, they have some good causes, some humor, a lot of self-righteousness, some snobbish attitudes, and at least 2-3 times a week they would indiscreetly let their right-wing opinions overpower their humor.

I stopped listening to them about a year ago. Currently I listen to TV on the radio while I'm in my car (87.7 FM is TV6).

Although it is a Faux affiliate, I at least get local news from local people - did you know that on WISN radio, the "local news" is read from a station somewhere in Ohio? - so that is up-to-the minute?

I will listen to Belling occassionally just to laugh at how egotistical one person can be!

I've left that station on after Angel one too many times.
It's like a broke Fox.
