Charleston Mayor Jones blasts possible federal appointment
http://www.dailymail.com/news/News/200412143/

Charleston Mayor Danny Jones said he understands that City Councilman Mark Sadd is the only person under consideration for a federal judgeship, but he believes Sadd is not qualified for the job.

"I know that he (Sadd) has told people on council that he has been interviewed," Jones said today. "My information is that he is the only name being considered right now."

At issue is the vacancy on the bench of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia that resulted from the death of Judge Charles Haden in March.
