1. And now it is early morning in Bothell and I'm sitting in a snow globe
with it sticking. WeatherUnderground says 1-2 inches, but we're in the usual convergence zone so we'll see. If I can drive this morning I'm heading to find Punxsutawney Phil, Seer of Seers, Prognosticator of all Prognosticators and shoot the little bastard dead.

This winter has been too long and there has been too much snow in a place that doesn't get snow. Yeah, if this we're Minnesota, okay, but it isn't and I am done with the "pretty" white stuff and I'm tired of having schoolreport.org on speed refresh.

Aaaargh!!!!!

2. We got 3 inches of really wet snow. The cats and chickens are not amused.
I, on the other hand, think it is beautiful and am glad it will warm up and go away by tomorrow also. My kid is in Stl, says the buses aren't running, people are "freaked out" over there. Info I find is that only a few buses are impacted, but he says they are not running most places.

Another snow day for your kidlets?

3. Amazingly, no, Northshore was about the only district that kept school on time
I was amazed and my autistic son who so needs his routine, seemed fine with the white stuff. Yay!

5. And again today!
Last snow we had about an inch. It is way above freezing out, but very pretty. Nicer to be out in than rain also. They sky has bad dandruff!

We have big winds here also, had a local gust of 50. blech.

6. This does seem a little extreme does it?
And today was my son's first day of driving to school on his new license. He made it back home intact, thank goodness. But I'm already wondering about tomorrow morning.

7. Beware slick roads. I am very amused by the weather.
Had a friend berating me for not planting peas on president's day. It is a bit brisk out tonight.
