Rossi fingered for direct involvement in illegal BIAW fundraising
http://www.nwprogressive.org/weblog/2008/09/breaking-dino-rossi-was-personally.html

The evidence released today shows that Mr. Rossi was not just a beneficiary of these illegal activities, but was a knowing and active participant. The Attorney General’s lawsuit found that the illegal fundraising campaign involved BIAW senior officers soliciting contributions from 15 local building groups. According to the Attorney General’s lawsuit, this fundraising was illegal because BIAW was not registered as a political committee and the proceeds of the fundraising were concealed for over a year. AG Complaint ¶¶ 3.9, 4.3.

3. Subpoenas arriving October 7!!
http://www.horsesass.org/?p=8101

Shortly after receiving a complaint in Utter vs. BIAW this morning alleging illegal collaboration between Dino Rossi and the Building Industry Association of Washington, a King County Superior Court judge has issued an order approving the plaintiffs’ request to immediately subpoena witnesses and begin taking depositions. Subpoenas will be served by October 7, and depositions will begin October 15.

5. The thing about digging is
You know the general proximity of what it is you seek to find, but where it is in depth is guess work. So you put the x to mark the spot ,good a place as any to start, and you proceed.Unless of course you are just digging yourself a hole (!) When you dig for days ,looking for it, be it water lines, gas lines ,drain lines ,or all of it should it all turn up,it may reach a point where you might want to toss it in. Even with all the illegal stuff that you have uncovered, such as gas lines crossing over electrical lines and water lines all entangled ,code violations of every kind, but not enough to prosecute. And after days of digging on end ,what it is you seek just isn't there. This hole is very wide and very very deep at this point. Time is money there are five diggers and some other types about, what to do?

It's pretty simple really, you just keep digging until it turns up. But oh when it does, the time spent digging pays off in very very big ways.
Alberto Gonzales the former attorney general of the United States will most certainly attest to that in person.

Because when you snooze,you lose.

This message is approved by all of your local hardware stores.
Dig freely and keep on digging.

8. Legal, schmegal
Christine Gregoire is going to secede from the United States and set up a communist state. Income tax is only the first step. Then she'll take your guns away. Oh, and she's black too. She doesn't look it on TeeVee, but that just the liberal media. They can do that, you know.

Like in that commercial where the guy sets fire to all that money? That was real money. Your money. Mine too.

9. Dino's stalling and refusing to answer questions
I'm shocked! SHOCKED!!! I tell you!

http://www.nwprogressive.org/weblog/2008/10/breaking-rossi-buildergate-deposition.html

Today's deposition from Dino Rossi in the lawsuit against the Building Industry Association for breaking Washington's public disclosure laws was a study in legal jostling and hostility, with the lawyer for the plaintiffs at one point accusing Rossi's counsel of harassment.

Representing the plaintiffs, retired Justices Faith Ireland and Robert Utter, are attorneys Mike Withey and Knoll Lowney.

Rossi is represented by attorney Michael Patterson.

In his answers to the first round of questions, Rossi admitted to having a basic understanding of the state of Washington's campaign finance laws and that the public disclosure of campaign finances are in the public's best interest.

Gee, what a novel concept.

10. When Rossi
Edited on Thu Oct-30-08 10:04 PM by Wash. state Desk Jet
changes his answer from I did nothing wrong to I may have at that point in time but I cannot recall for certain because of the many other matters that have come and gone since the period in time you are asking me to recall. I may have is a admission of guilt and Rossi's attorney was not going to let Rossi make that confession.

In a series of questions leading to the same end, Rossi will have answered at least one key question asked several different ways, I may have, I do not recall off hand. (!) That will have been the smoking gun response. I might have or may have.

In order to shield Rossi, his lawyer crossed all lines.~`(!) It was the only way Patterson had to be faithful to their cause. In the process,he may have become the sacrificial lamb.Rossi will eventually answer the question ,and his answer will be a admission of guilt.

By the way, Bo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
And Happy Halloween !

12. Got the same flyer.
I met Liz Loomis when she doorbelled in my neighborhood Memorial Day weekend. She seems like a very intelligent and capable woman so this cheap shot shit really pisses me off. I've yet to meet Mike the Dope. He's a Seattle cop. Pretty scary shit.

If you want to complain to Mike Hope about his shitty attack ads his phone # is 425-275-1113.

13. Oopsie! Perjury!
http://www.nwprogressive.org/weblog/2008/11/breaking-new-buildergate-development.html

Dino Rossi's sworn testimony that he did not discuss fundraising for the governors race with Masterbuilders' officers was contradicted by an important witness last night – a matter that drives right to the heart of the case about Rossi's involvement in the BIAW fundraising for the governor's race that is now being prosecuted as illegal by the Attorney General.

16. PDC now weighing in. FAIL!
http://www.horsesass.org/?p=10778

In what could be a costly turn of events for the subjects, both financially and politically, Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) Executive Director Vickie Rippie has filed a detailed complaint with her own commission, alleging numerous campaign finance and reporting violations on the part of Republicans Dino Rossi, Attorney General Rob McKenna, the Washington Association of Realtors and their various committees.

The complaint alleges that the Realtors failed to properly report $415,000 of electioneering that specifically targeted Gov. Chris Gregoire, while providing over-limit in-kind advertising expenditures to Rossi and McKenna in the amounts of $498,000 and $29,000 respectively, both in excess of the $1,600 limit per election. The complaint also alleges that both Rossi and McKenna violated state law by coordinating fundraising with the Realtors, and illegally accepting the over-limit contributions.

This complaint comes on top of a previous settlement in September, in which the Realtors acknowledged nearly a million dollars of illegal expenditures between 2004 and 2007, and agreed to a $130,000 fine. Under the terms of the agreement, $50,000 of the fine would be suspended if the Realtors managed to follow all applicable laws through 2011… a sum for which the Realtors should now prepare to write a check, considering the new complaint documents violations through October of 2008, one month after the settlement.

17. Ah, but those realtors !
Edited on Sat Dec-06-08 07:42 PM by Wash. state Desk Jet
Add Rossi's version of small business to the mix and operation clean sweep becomes clear as a bell ! Indeed now, what is $50,ooo dollars to a bunch of developers looking to make millions ! Berely the worth of a good vintage car !

Soon the conspiracy will be in the light of day. But not soon enough.

You know, Bush bought a house in a part of Dallas where the richest of the rich reside. Rather a closed and secret sheltered environment! Just like the realtors network! As the saying goes, no rest for the wicked.

The State AG too, (!) How is he going to give Rossi a republican fair shake if he too is subject to allegations! Or guilty of being a part of a state wide conspiracy ? (!)

18. Where oh where
Is Magic Mike MaGavic with all this illegal money hustling going on during operation clean sweep ? (!) Surely MaGavic isn't being kept behind the scenes so he can come out of this smelling like a rose in time for the next election ? MaGavic lurking around back there just waiting to pounce ,such as predators do. Of course they don't know if it will work (!)

No doubt somebody will have a better trick up the old sleeve just for Magic Mike. That's the one where the truth bust's out ! Was he or wasn't he---------------------------------------------------involved in a conspiracy !
