KRLD 1080 AM: Beyond the Headlines with Scott Braddock...
is a pretty good radio program if you're able to get reception. It's a relatively moderate program, but considering it's in a red state that spews conservative reich...oops, I mean right-wing radio 24/7, we can't expect much more. If you have the time, please send him an email :)

Also,

Please DU this poll (Does Texas need an immigration law similar to AZ):

4. I agree, I like his show
I also like Ernie & Jay during mid-days, eventhough I disagree with them a lot. They seem to cover a lot of local issues, which I like.

5. But you know I was expecting Slick Rick to come out...
full blast in hi-jacking Texas into getting on board with this AZ crap. I didn't hear a word, or maybe I missed it?

Tammywammy, I've been hearing a small change in KRLD since David Rankin is now over programming. I think a lot of people were really upset when they got rid of Brad Barton, but now since he's gone, I really like Mitch Carr(sp), and I LOVE Mike Rogers. They make a great team. I also like the Smirconish show (which is also moderate)that comes on before that dreaded As you know Neil Sperry is now gone, but I like the Dirt Doctor on... brace yourself... that dreaded "VERY CONSERVATIVE" K-Sky 660 AM. On Saturday mornings/afternoons K-sky has great "green" shows which I thought is an oxymoron for that station. Check them out if you like this type of programming.

Even though he is. He's been tip-toeing around the issue. I fully expect he will stick his foot in his mouth soon.

First Reading blog on AAS 4/28/10

• On to more serious matters: When asked about the new immigration law in Arizona — which would require law enforcement to ask people about their immigration status if there is reason to believe they are in the country illegally and make it a crime for immigrants to lack registration papers — Perry points toward Washington. His declaration to the ABC 13 in Houston that , "when you have a porous border, and people are moving back and forth across that border, then it doesn’t make any difference what you do on immigration policy, frankly," indicates that he isn’t itching to pass a similar law in Texas. At the same time, he isn’t exactly condemning the Arizona measure in harsh terms.

Plus he's making appearances with racist idiots like Glenn Beck "Nazi" Leo Berman

If his rabid Reich wing base keeps screaming for it, he might just go there.
