Rod Dreher posted a blog defending pharmacists who refuse to sell Plan B.

I posted a comment, which appeared on the blog right away, then I received an email saying that Rod Dreher will be gone 'til June 30!

3. Checked this morning & saw it--great post!

It won't get deleted--they don't manage the board all that closely. They even leave up triple posts from people who can't figure out the "captcha" thing.

By the way, I checked that Pharmacists for Life site that Rod likes so much--there are only 6 members so far, but that's six too many. They're trying to use the courts to fight their cases. Some right-wing freak on Dreher's blog posted about a pharmacist in Wisconsin who took it to the State Supreme Court. I posted a link to the outcome--the court rejected his petition and the newspaper gave him some career advice, namely, "get another job."

Anyone else want to join the discussion? C'mon, before Rod gets back!

Choice and birth control are my hot buttons. I am a poster child for choice (have chosen both options. Still have no children), and it's a really important issue in my mind. Both times, I did what I thought was right for ME.

Marching for choice in DC a few years ago was so powerful. Thinking about forging forward with a bunch of other women singing "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" still brings tears to my eyes.
