"Beat Pete" update: so far, Eric Roberson has the best organized campaign in the TX-32 primary race, and will be appearing at a number of candidate events in the next few weeks:

(at this writing, the website says "Tuesday, January 31," but I checked with the campaign, and it will be Tuesday the 29th, not Thursday the 31st).

2. Naval Flight Officer

Erick Roberson is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield. A vet no less. Kudos to Eric. My youngest brother was in the army during that first Gulf war.

I keep wanting to write Robertson with a T. His name is little bit unusual.
