We have a peace march here in Austin on Saturday too, but I'm doing some volunteer work.

4. Sorry I didn't get to say hi
Towards the end of the meeting, someone else showed up I just didn't want to deal with so I bailed early.

See you Saturday!

I've been enjoying the pictures on DU and DailyKos.

The Austin march had about 1,000 people according to the local rag.

Here's a few pictures from the Austin march:

I worked today helping legal residents fill out their citizenship papers. We had a big event that had been planned for months. We had a huge turnout too. It felt so good to help people save a little money helping them fill out their forms.

8. Nice photos - thanks!
We had about 200 people - not bad for an event with 2 days notice when most of the peace activists were in DC. Sheila rocked. She's going to introduce some kick ass anti war legislation. Then I stopped by a friend's house for a couple of beers and wasn't motivated to post by the time I got home. More tomorrow.
