I loathe John Cornyn

Heard him yesterday on Cspan during the Iraq inquiry and he used his time basically as Re-elect Bush, trash Kerry fest. Sometimes I have written his office to speak up about issues and unlike Kay B Hutchinson, where I AT LEAST get a friggin form letter that tells me nothing, he doesn't bother to reply. When he next comes up for re-election, I want to find a parrott to run against him-not only will the parrott do the same thing, but at least it's better looking.

Cornyn has never done so. Even my nutty rep Hensarling responds.

3. When I first heard of the pending war in Iraq, I wrote all of my Texas rep

which also include "Blue Dog" Charlie Stenholm. Got back, much after the fact, these long-winded excuses about why they supported the war and voted away their rights in Congress to Lame-o. I wrote AGAIN about the 87 billion smacks and got back another generic form letter about how it was the right thing to do and support the president. (At least from KBH and Charlie). This time around, due to redistricting, we have a chance to vote for a Yellow Dog Dem, Chet Edwards, and I don't know what Charlie's going to do but woe to the district that gets him and his mealy-mouthed faux Dem stances.

I'd at least like the congress in our state to PRETEND that they are listening.

4. One of our all time worst AGs

The guy is a jerk and was a bad attorney general. The only good thing is that he is not on the Texas Supreme Court making stupid decisions in favor of the insurance companies.

6. i despise john cornyn

he gave the graduation speech in 1997 at st. mary's u. law school & it was such a downer...all because he didn't like the dean at the time or her politics. thanks so much, a--hole. my classmates & i worked our butts off to get our degrees, had our families come to SA to watch us graduate & you use the time to promote your own ideas about the current state of the law, lawyers, and the law school instead of the usual "congrats on your achievements, go out & do good" commencement address.

i heard when he was invited back by the current dean (republican shill), he gave a much nicer speech.....
