All across Austin, people are opening up their homes to watch John Kerry accept the Democratic nomination for President. This will be the one of the defining moments of the campaign, and Kerry's speech will mark the official beginning of the most important election this country has ever held.
Austin for Kerry will be hosting a watching party on the outdoor screen at Mother Egan's Irish Pub this Thursday, July 29th at 7pm. We will play a special call from John Edwards around 8pm, and will watch conevntion coverage throughout. John Kerry is expected to speak around 9pm. We will have Kerry-Edwards gear, along with volunteer forms and event information for the local campaign. Please be sure and RSVP if you plan on attending.
