Molly Ivins was on Washington Journal This Morning
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 01:55 PM by MagickMuffin
You can check it out on C-SPAN's streaming video. She is at the 2:19:21 time marker....

It might be re aired later today on the C-SPAN channel, however I'm not certain they don't have their schedule up yet for later today.

While I love 'our Molly', I disagree with her when she says that impeachment of Shrub is not where we should direct our energies. IMHO, he needs to go, and the sooner the better.

2. She was wonderful....
So calm, so soft spoken, so reasonable, so well informed, so honest, so Molly.

She is everything that the right wing pundits are not.

3. Go Molly Go,
I watched this morning, even tried to call but couldn't get in. Molly looked like she had not been feeling well, but she was on a roll this morning.

Smart Texans think of her as a treasure, most smart americans as well.

4. kicking it for Molly
Let's not take this national treasure for granted. She doesn't quit no matter what and neither do we.

I'm going to watch now. Thanks for the tip MM!

Did a good job of refuting some GOP callers. Did disagree on trying to get * impeached. She is right about thinking of ways to fix things when he is out of office, but impeachment will put a cramp on any more damage he can do - think of it as damage control.

6. I support impeachment too, NoAmericanTaliban
But it better include Cheney too because he's worse. I wish we had coalition government where we could hold a "no confidence" vote and start all over with a new administration within months. That's what we need.

7. Not Only That
but we need to repeal ALL the illegal laws that have been passed during the siege of our country.

The laws that have been passed most often have been written by lobbyist, for lobbyist interest, and never debated, hidden into appropriations bills, votes often held open for the desired results past the intended time allotments until the wee hours in the night. :grr:
