10. After-party better than the party

About twenty of us adjourned to Downing Street -- a cigar bar in Ricer Oaks -- for more libations and merriment.

The usual suspects: Lisa 0825 and WestHoustonDem plus DFAers Phil McNutt and Vicky Hawkins, Meyerland Dems Prez Kellen Wilson and past Prez Debby Kerner, new HCDP director of admin Melissa Taylor, and several of our statehouse candidates: Borris Miles (running in HD-146, against Al "Don't Shake Your Booty" Edwards), Kristi Sliva-Thibaut (running for Moldy Joe Nixon's old seat in HD-133), and Steve Brown (challenging Dora Olivo in HD-27).

The proverbial good time by all was had.
