Is anyone here displaced from Rita?
I worked at the Disaster Recovery Center all weekend, and ever since, I've been thinking about the people I met with. Most were from Katrina, but some were from Rita. I just wanted to put out the offer that if anyone from the areas affected by Rita is displaced to Houston and feels out of sorts, if I can do anything for you, please let me know what you need... even if it's just hooking up for dinner on me, or having a friend to talk to.

I actually stopped by your lovely state forum to check on this very thing. We've had Rita evacuees arriving in Denver. I'm not hearing anything about it on the news. :scared:

And all of my family has returned home now (SE Texas). Everyone trickled back home last weekend.
