:hi: In my CD (#5) we have a Freshman Congressman - Republican. He has no Republican challenger and there is only one Democrat running in the primary. The Democrat is a 24 year old with no work experience, but a poli sci degree from Penn State. Good luck with that :eyes:. I can't even find a functioning Democratic Club within 100 miles of me.

Peterson, er, I mean Thomspson, cause they are simply the same guy, is HORRIBLE ...

COMPLETELY safe seat, so he just votes with the party with absolutely no concern, and unlike Peterson, who over time became nearly unpartisan in his demenor, Thompson is absolutely drunk off the echo chamber and is a raging partisan. Sad, but he pretty much pisses on the 40-45% in the district who he really does not represent ...

I met the kid who is tilting the windmill ... Gotta give him props for taking it on, but it isn't going to be pretty ...

I assume you are in the eastern part of the district, but if not, the centre county democratic committee is at the very least functioning ... There are regular breakfasts the third saturday of each month in different restaurants across the counthy every third weekend ... Some other stuff from time to time ...
