PA: Nader pushes for ballot slot
Pennsylvania Republicans are salivating over the prospects of independent Ralph Nader joining the fray for president in the Keystone State.

With President Bush and Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., locked in fierce competition for the state's 21 winner-take-all electoral votes, Nader's candidacy could be a deciding factor in a close race between the major candidates on Nov. 2.

If he gets on the ballot, Nader could tilt the outcome in Bush's favor by siphoning votes from Kerry, pundits say.

Nader faces a hurdle first: His backers need to collect at least 25,697 signatures from registered Pennsylvania voters by Aug. 2 -- a project the Nader camp admits will be tough.

1. There goes Nader's ego again.
Please tell me he won't get the signatures.

In PA, can repugs sign to get Nader on the ballot? I note it states 'registered voters,' so I'm guessing they can!

Will someone please tell Nader he's over?
