Who the hell is Denise Brody?

I may not have spelled that correctly.

I can't find anything about her via Google, and I tried various spellings. Nothing Oklahoma related comes up. I mean, I know who she is and what's she's doing, but I can't find background info.

She's running for Congress. I've been hearing her horrid commercials for the last three days, and they are really starting to piss me off. Blatant homophobia, rants about so-called "activist judges," comments about Americans having "too many rights," etc. Just vile.

I want to find out more about her and use it in LTTE.

Denise is the Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner.

Denise Bode is only the second woman to serve as a commissioner. In January, 2005 she began her second full term in office, having won reelection by the most votes ever garnered by a Republican candidate for an Oklahoma state-wide office.

Appointed by Governor Frank Keating, Mrs. Bode took office on August 20, 1997 and was elected on November 3, 1998 with over 60% of the vote, a record for a Republican running statewide for the first time. She was reelected to her second full term in November, 2004.

2. Check for the sexual harassment case

in which Bode is involved in.

A former OCC employee complained to Bode about sexual harassment & Bode didn't investigate it properly. The guy she complained about was her boss & the employee was fired.

She has now filed a lawsuit & Bode is named in it. I can't remember the guy's name, I think it might have been Dixon?

As I said, I knew *who* she was, but I had this weird, paranoid, Orwellian moment wondering why I couldn't find anything.

Google is usually better at figuring out my horrible spelling than that. :-) I have no idea why I got it stuck in my head her last name was Brody.
