Northern OHIO is going to Kerry the Buckeye State....
I just returned from a jaunt from the SW to mid-Northern OH. Let me tell you, the blue was BLINDING! Oh yes there were Bu$h signs, but not nearly as many as K/E.

I uploaded a homemade sign I saw that'll make y'all laugh...enjoy!

2. Hey, I got a major surprise, today.
Went down into Clermont County today. Clermont County is no bellwether -- it's one of the most conservative counties in Ohio -- but I was completely knocked out at how many Kerry-Edwards and Democratic candidate yard signs I saw on the way to the old homestead. The Bush* signs outnumbered the Kerry signs, of course -- but it wasn't the two-to-one margin the voting in Clermont County usually reveals. I'd say there were three Kerry signs for every four Bush* signs.

A little funny -- my mother's Republican neighbor's friends have been tagging him, the past couple of weeks. They fastened a Kerry sign to the tailgate of his truck (which he took great satisfaction, apparently, in melting in his barbecue grill), then hung a Kerry sign on top of his shed, right next to the street, which was there for several days before he realized it was there. My brother-in-law, apparently, got a real kick out of it. He's one of those conservative Dems who hasn't voted since Clinton ran the first time who's so disgusted by Bush* he's said he plans to vote for Kerry this year.

Another thing that floored me -- my old boss, who owns a business that's visible from a major thoroughfare down there, has a huge sign up on the property of the business for a judge who'd endorsed by the Dems. The old boss was a classic Republican -- social libertarian, fiscal conservative -- who probably has a personal relationship with the judge, I doubt it shows any change in his political opinions (and if he votes, he'll probably vote for Bush*). Regardless, that he has a great big sign for a judge who's also supported by the Democratic Party made me feel good!

4. Shelby County...suprised at the Kerry/.Edwards signs..
took a nice fall afternoon drive up to Sidney and backroaded it...

Sure, alot of Bush signs, but a suprising amount of Kerry/Edwards signs...both in Sidney...out in the country this little villiage of Port Jefferson had only Kerry/Edwards signs...didnt even see a Bush one. This place must lean Dem for some reason.

On the way back, though, on Ohio 235, too many Bush signs out around Kiser Lake and down thru New Carlisle.

Sort of suprised by Shelby County,...esp. by Port Jefferson... I know this county will go for Bush, but the Dems there must be motivated if they have that many signs out.

5. I have a pic from up in Allen County that you should all see
I will bookmark this thread and post it later when I get the picture of it.

If you take Brentlinger road south just off of St. Rt. 309, the first road you come to look off to your right, you will see a manure wagon with a hand painted b/c 04 sign that reads: Bush Cheney campaign wagon, like father like son, ONE term and he's done. Also had Kerry Edwards signs out in front. It's very funny I will get the pic posted later.
