Ashevilleans: Any good Asian grocery stores in town?
My husband's favorite food in the world is kim chee. He loves it, adores it. But not the crap you get at the grocery store for $4 for a tiny jar; he likes the kind you find in Asian grocery stores, humongous jars for $8 ...

We have decided to live within an hour of either Asheville or Atlanta. I really, really, reeeeeeealy want to be in NC, so please tell me there is a wide variety of foods available in Asheville! First requirement is an Asian foods store. Then, how about a good Indian restaurant and a sushi restaurant?

Thanks!

Drop me a PM. I'm headed downtown on Sunday and I'll ask.

Also, lets all have dinner soon! I want to meet some Ashevillian DUers.

ON EDIT: It's where the ACRC used to be.

3. the best!
Wish I had seen your question sooner. The best, oh lord I miss this place, is on Merrimon Ave, on the right as you're heading out of town. If you get to Ingles or Beaver Dam Lake, you've gone too far. It's close to the musician's store.
