Moving to Charlotte NC. Any suggestions?
Will be very poor student, seeking night work as well as reasonable housing. Any locals know which areas I should seek out. Also considering the SC side of the line.

1. If you have transportation...
Then I would consider Rock Hill, Gastonia, or Concord. If not, then live in Charlotte (CATS is pretty decent). North and East Charlotte are reasonable, West is challenged, and South is expensive. Any rates you see this week is not normal as this is 600 week and everything is inflated.

2. Thanks for your help. Right now I'm thinking about Rock Hill.
Cheap is the goal. At least until I feel my way around town.
