Bill Clinton campaigns in Cortlandt for District 19 Congressional candidate John Hall

There were two rock stars on the District 19 congressional campaign trail yesterday.

A trim and beaming Bill Clinton electrified a crowd of local Democrats in Cortlandt, where he came to campaign for Democratic congressional candidate John Hall, a singer-songwriter and a founding member of the soft rock band Orleans.

"We love you, Bill!" fans shouted as Clinton and Hall strode together into the circular ballroom of the Colonial Terrace catering hall for the late afternoon event.

Over the cheers and applause blared "Still the One," Hall's hit recording used by the 2004 Bush campaign as a theme song.
