Las Cruces

I signed up to be a poll monitor with Election Protection and one of the places they mentioned as needing help was Las Cruces. Can anyone here suggest a good place to stay?

the Holiday Inn on Valley and University, but my parents paid so I don't know the cost or anything.

2. It's a pretty small town

I grew up in El Paso. LC is a smaller town. I would stay in one of the big name places, if there are any. And, even though it's the desert, it will be COLD at night. :)

3. Help please

Off the subject but please does anyone have any pictures of Kerry and the crowd at the rally in Las Cruces? We drove all the way from Santa Fe to see Kerry but my camera battery ran down. If you have any pix, could you please post them!!! God bless.

4. The Best Western Mission Inn on S. Main....check to see if they

still have that fantastic free breakfast included! We're talking FULL breakfast, not just toast! I stayed there on our first trip out here, then lived there for a couple of weeks until I found an apt. It really is a VERY good deal....and good rates, too. Ask about a discount on multiple nights, too.
It's not super big, either....and is AAA, last I know of. (There is another BW in town, near the highway....I'm talking about the Mission Inn on S. Main, closer to downtown..)
