Nebraska labor won this one

I posted this last week:

Gov. Heineman Withdraws Nomination

(Lincoln, Neb.) Gov. Dave Heineman notified members of the Legislature today that he has withdrawn his nomination of Sam Jensen of Omaha to a seat on the Commission of Industrial Relations.

Gov. Heineman said, “My office has spoken with several members of the Legislature in recent days regarding this nomination. After visiting with Mr. Jensen, we determined that the best course of action was to withdraw the nomination.” (3/05/2008)

1. Where did you
get that banner (poster)?!! Don't come to this forum much, not
much goes on here...besides I'm still p.o'ed at the Nebraska
party for holding an exclusionary caucus. But, I'm curious
about the graphic.

2. How was the caucus "exclusionary"?
Unless you are a republican or independent who didn't want to change your party, no Democrat was excluded. Now if you are just bitter that "the other candidate" won, that's a whole other issue, but not something that could be called "exclusionary"

3. Or unless you are
someone who works at a bank, does hair, waits tables, works in
a hospital, or other job where your presence is required
Saturday mornings. As for the "other candidate", I
didn't have a candidate...I would have liked to have heard
what each side had to say, but then I never had the chance. I
had to work...you know the working man, those whom the
Democratic party claims to represent and then excludes.

8. Amen
Caucuses are the worst thing. It excludes too many people and is NOT representative of how the GE may turn out, since there is no caucus then.
