Can a native of Flathead County please explain?
A 6'-5", 280 lb. identical twin drummer/pizza deliverer with a semi sutomatic pistol, a pistol-grip shotgun, and BANDOLIERS of ammunition in his truck, shoots 6 candy ravers at daybreak. WTF. Did Seattle's weather push him over the edge, or did Flathead County make him crazy? What does John Stokes have to say for himself this morning?

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002892043_shooter27m.html

Though 6-foot-5 and pushing 280 pounds, Kyle Huff could seem almost invisible in a crowd.

The man believed to be responsible for Saturday's massacre at a Capitol Hill house party had a demeanor that belied his hulking stature: Friends from his hometown of Whitefish, Mont., described him as quiet, polite and nice.

"It's never been like him to snap," said a stunned Cody Hoon, 21, who said he considered Huff close enough to be his older brother. "I wouldn't believe it if I saw it."

Police in the small northwestern Montana artist community of Whitefish had a different view of him: a small-town rowdy once arrested for blasting a public-art project with a shotgun.

Huff, 28, allegedly armed himself with another shotgun Saturday morning and returned to a party he'd left quietly minutes before. Police say the shooter killed two young partygoers outside, forced his way into the home and fired dozens of rounds.

Three more died inside the home, a sixth died at a local hospital and two others were wounded, both seriously.

Huff fatally shot himself when a police officer confronted him outside the home.

2. of geography isnt the determining factor
cheap & easy access to guns is.

after his arrest in HS for 'vandalism with a shotgun', whitefish gave him back the guns he used to kill 6 other people.

i want to know if this crazy listened to john stokes' hate radio station. its between kallispel & bigfork.

3. I've heard Stokes on the radio. He's a jerk.
But maybe the guy who did the shooting was just bi-polar, or schizophrenic.

I have a hard time attributing a cause for his action without more information. I don't and can't attribute it to what area of the country he grew up in or even to the availability of guns.

A very high percentage of the people in Montana own guns but there isn't a corresponding incident of murder. (though a lot of suicide by gun, yes)

4. sure, he was psychotic. there was no 'cause'.
i'm just curious if he was a fan of Stokes & his incendiary BS. he listened to metal during HS in whitefish, z-600 used to play metal back then. i felt at the time that it was to draw in the kids so they'd hear the hate speech.

did the chickens come home to roost?
