22 GOP Legislators Unwilling To Stand With Blunt
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 06:38 PM by usregimechange
In the attempt to override Governor Matt Blunt's veto of funding for Alzheimer's research, 22 Republican legislators sought to distance themselves from their embattled Governor.

From the KC Star:

In the veto session Wednesday, a Democratic-led effort to overturn Blunt’s veto of $227,000 for funding of Alzheimer’s research produced an 84-70 vote in favor of an override. The vote was well less than the 109 necessary for an override, but it was notable because 22 Republicans joined the effort.

1. The fucker absolutely sickens me.
Sorry, but the man's been in office well short of year, and I already loathe him.
