There are 10,900 reasons for Congressman John Kline to go. 10,900 manufacturing jobs have been lost in this district since John Kline took office. According to the Alliance for American Manufacturing, Minnesota's Second Congressional District is ranked 22nd of the 435 Districts nationwide in terms of net job losses to China due to growing trade losses from 2001-2008. That's the worst in the state.

Mr. Kline voted for the bank bailout bill that gave executives multi-million dollar bonuses, while regular Minnesotans right here in his district were losing jobs and dealing with foreclosures.

Mr. Kline has refused to request Federal tax dollars for important community projects, even when asked by our trusted county, city and school leaders. What does that mean for the tax payer in our district? For every Federal tax dollar paid in our Congressional District, only 35 cents is spent here in our community. At the same time, John Kline voted for the bill that included the 'Bridge to Nowhere' in Alaska and the Wall Street Bank Bailout.

While Minnesotans risk injury and death on highways and bridges that have gone unrepaired for lack of federal support, tax dollars collected from Minnesota communities continue to fund projects in neighboring states. Rep. Kline has voted to send four times more Federal dollars to North Dakota than back to his own district.

It’s time to send this Republican back home to Texas. You can help send a Representative who cares about Minnesota families and communities to help restore prosperity by supporting road and bridge projects, promoting high-speed Internet, and facilitating a business environment that supports job growth and development.
