Norm Laurie and Lyme

Well, well, well. Laurie Coleman had a bad case of Lyme Disease and Norm has a case of Bells Palsy Now when his doctor looked online he saw that the yahoos at the ADLF and IDSA had written that Lyme Disease is not transmitted during sex. They are saying that because they have controlled what research has been done and no research has been done on sexual transmission in humans. It has been published that dogs and cattle can sexually transmit the disease.

The GOP and corporations have been screwing up Lyme Disease research and treatment since 1991. There is only one cure for it, large long doses of antibiotics.

What will make it worse? Lyme itself interferes with the immune system and the immune system has to fight extremely hard to fight it off. It takes up to a year to totally recover from a case that progresses to fever. Steroids, interfere with the immune systems ability to fight the infection. This often results in rapid decline to total disability within 2 years according to 1991 insurance company data. Think ALS.

I would never wish Lyme Disease on anyone but what is in store for Norm if he stays with the only treatment he can get here in Minnesota is not what he has planned and his party is responsible. Even though I have been fighting every day for the last 28 years, because my family lives here, I could not make sure that Norm Coleman would be properly diagnosed and treated here in Minnesota. Sometimes there is Karma.
