God she looks and sounds awful. Not to mention she lies through her teeth. Does she think people can't watch the Hardball interview side by side with this train wreck?

2. She 's now distancing herself from her "Hardball" remarks..

...more than in her previous interviews which I've seen since Frdiay.

Which raises the question of whether she sincerely regrets her remarks based on their content, or just based on the long negative reaction.

Bachmann (and more than a few 6th District Republicans) truly, truly believe that anyone to the left of Newt Gingrich is anti-American. Matthews coaxed her into revealing her true feelings on national TV, that's all. And the only thing she "regrets" right now is that her own words are about to bring her down.
