1. I've mentioned before how to avoid all conflicts..

Simply invite a police representative to the protest planning meetings. They know what the protesters are going to do, making everyone more calm. For crying out loud. Protesters are there to protest idiot republicans not battle police. Im sure there will be some idiots out there who's primary function is to battle the cops tho....

Once everyone gets bent out of shape thats when the problems begin. Everyone stays calm then there shouldnt be any problems.

Often its up to the individual city chiefs and local sheriff's to determine whether or not a police agency can use tasers or mace...

2. Dang, I didn't think of Repuks getting tasered..

Now that would be funny. They often get crazy angry and they just might get themselves tasered.

3. I don't buy the police federation claim that they want tasers to respond to violence.

If anyone is violent against a cop, the cop will fire his pistol.

They want the tasers so that they can tell a peaceful crowd, "You must disperse," and then when the crowd doesn't vanish, start tasering people.
