2. At today's SD 40 convention

Jack Nelson Pallmeyer got 2 of the delegates from the CD3 side of the district. I think he also got 2 on the CD2 side, but I'm not sure and I never heard a count for Franken. We had 9 delegates to elect from Bloomington so he could have gotton as many as 7.

3. It's strange, almost, how anonymous one becomes on

internet forums like DU. It's not everyday that I get to sub-caucus with real DFL royalty; I had no idea...

The CD3 race looks like it'll be a good one this year. I'd be happy with Ashwin or Teri - they both seem like fine folks. I don't know much about this Eric Paulson fella, but I intend to do what I can to make sure he stays out of Washington.

Jack seems like the real deal to me. Franken's likely got some dirty laundry hidden somewhere. If it's aired before June...

6. I should say for those new to this forum

that I let my niece pick my screen name - I wanted something with DFL in it, but couldn't decide what the rest should be so I left it to the kid. I sometimes regret that as the "princess" part is a tad too cutesy for a woman my age, but after all this time, it's what everyone knows me by. As long as I don't insist you refer to me as "her serene highness" it should be okay.
