Gov. Tim Pawlenty has supported Molnau publicly, saying he thinks she's doing a "good job."

1. Classic, Avidor, simply classic!
I see the Taxpayers League's Phil "Dr. No" Krinkie is calling for no fingerpointing. If I was head of the organization responsible for pushing the "No New Taxes" mantra at the capitol--the organization chiefly responsible for shooting down transportation funding--I guess I'd be calling for no fingerpointing too.

5. No guilt by the Taxpayers League
Indeed, they are targeting politicians who don't follow their mandate. Build your own damn bridges.

Isn't their fad of anti-tax politics over?

Was the booth busy?

3. Who are the bloggers of "Party of Pawlenty"?:

Republican Party hack Michael Brodkorb.

You can find some others here:

Eric Hoplin:

http://conservativeminnesota.blogspot.com/2005/06/calli...

Eric Hoplin is one of the people running for Deputy Chair and his embarrassing history has been publicized in a letter sent to delegates last weekend. Written by Glen Menze, who ran for the 7th Congressional District in 2000, the letter calls into question the electability of Hoplin after his suspicious fundraising techniques while Chair of the College Republican National Committee.

The College Republican National Committee is under fire for using front organizations to collect millions of dollars in contributions, including money from elderly people with dementia.

4. As we call it in MN: "Drive By Excellence"
Unfortunately, Tim is my boss-in-chief, as I work for the state of MN.

At work, we call it "Drive By Excellence", because that's basically all it is. Cosmetic little tweaks that save a few bucks here and there, at the expense of the operations of the rest of the state government.

He's consistently cut our budget, and we've consistently had to help more people in this state with fewer resources. Expect much of the same if he gets to be VP.

7. Driving excellence into the ground?
Minnesota has:

Great k-12 education
Great college and university system
A record as being one of the healthiest states
A rich arts community
Beautiful wilderness and natural resources

And Pawlenty is GUTTING the infrastructure that has built these things!
