No longer humble, Coleman vouches for *'s character in today's letter
Last week, Coleman was my "humble servant." Today he is standing by his man, against all odds, and has reverted to his robotic closing. Yes, I KNOW staff writes these, but they are getting some direction from on high, probably Mehlman.

Dear katinmn:

Thank you for contacting me with your concerns about President Bush and his policies.

During my time in Congress thus far, I have agreed and disagreed at times with President Bush depending upon my own beliefs and what I believe is in Minnesota's best interest.

That being said, however, I must respectfully disagree with your assessment of President Bush's character. I do not believe he has been dishonest with the American people. Although I have disagreed with the President's policies at times, I continue to believe that his decisions are based upon his conviction to best serve the American people.

Thank you once again for taking the time to contact me. I value your input. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future if I can be of further assistance to you.

Sincerely,
Norm Coleman
United States Senate

2. Wow! That sounds almost personalized
What did you say about Bushie that had Normie defending him?

The last email I sent to the weasel I called Bush and his entire administration liars (along with incompetent and crooked), but only received the mass produced Katrina response.

5. Well, I couldn't resist
I sent Normie another email, quoting from the one he sent you, and pointing out how his votes on CAFTA, the bankruptcy and prescription drug bills will be soooo helpful to Minnesotans. I also listed a few of the lies Bush has told (there's not enough room in his form for all of them).

I was tempted to ask him what the Bushies have on him - or if they've threatened him in someway (maybe remiding him that small planes can crash). But instead I encouraged him to keep drinking the Kool-Aid because it will make him easier to beat in 2008.

11. Exactly! The little Bushboy has never disagreed with his master
on anything. And he most certainly never takes "Minnesota's best interest" into account. He certainly pissed off a lot of farmers with his CAFTA vote. Hopefully the idiots that voted for him last time around have figured out that a joke ol' Norm is. I'd like to see a poll to find out just where Norm ranks with Minnesotans. I bet his numbers are even lower than Dubya's.

Hey Norm, keep up the shitty job. By all means, back Dubya 100% on everything. That will just make it a lot easier to get you voted out next time around.

10. ROTFLMAO. Guess lots of us told him his boss was a big fat liar!
:hi:

Keep up the good work. Even though we know that Coleman will always stand by *, we can't just let him cruise life through misrepresenting us.

13. If Normie now has a "canned" email defending Bush
I wonder if that means he's getting a lot of complaints about the liar?

17. I Received a Similar Response
I had e-mailed Norm to point out that President *'s inaction resulted in an untold number of deaths to my fellow American citizens. I then politely suggested that he demand the president's resignation for the good of the country.

I received the same stock response.

3. Wait a minute - when has the Tuna Sandwich EVER disagreed with Chimpy?
I honestly cannot recall. What I do remember, though, is issues like drilling in Alaska where he DID disagree with * during the campaign, but then changed his mind once in office.

12. My "source" mentions it every once in awhile.
We both get quite a kick out of it. No matter how many times you hear it, it's still funny. Norm Coleperson...what a loser.

15. Wow. Even the tuna sandwiches come to Bush's defense.
Loyalty isn't something I usually look for in my tuna sandwich. Usually it's, "this thing has too much onion" "not enough salt," "needs more mayo," or "the hard-boiled eggs are just right."

Next time I eat a tuna sandwich, I will insist on its undying loyalty to the CiC, no matter how much the CiC screws up, no matter if the CiC will probably end up killing us all.

I mean, really. "I've disagreed with *"?! Like when he told you to run and told Pawlenty to get out of the race?

Murmph. Grumble.
