Bill Clinton to RoboCall for Nancy Skinner!
Bill Clinton has agreed to record a robo call for Nancy Skinner, to help Get Out The Vote on Tuesday.

We need $5,000 to get these calls rollin'! Can you contribute at ActBlue?

We are all very excited for the support from the Big Dawg, and if you could send just $50 we can call over 800 voters! We'd love to call the over 130,000 households in the district, can you contribute today?

6. Robocalls are a waste of money!

Seriously. This is what Gerber and Green say in Get Out The Vote!:

Thus far, none of the experiments using robo calls has been able to distinguish their effects from zero. Our best guess places the vote production rate somewhere in the neighborhood of one vote per 2,000 contacts, but the given the shakey state of the evidence, robo calls may have no effect at all. If you are attempting to mobilize voters in a constituency with millions of people and willing to gamble that robo calls do work, they may be a cost-effective option, given the low cost per call. But do not expect to notice the effects of a robo call campaign, since it takes roughly 2,000,000 completed calls to produce 1,000 votes.

Robo-Clinton could call every phone number in in the district and round up... sixty-five votes.

7. you guys have run a great campaign
with the resources you've had, I'm betting Granholm's wide lead will pull Nancy in, Granholm's campaign has targeted many of Nancy's precincts. 56% of democratic voters intend to vote straight ticket this is a huge historical pull.

only 48hours left, you'll be able to sleep tomorrow at 8pm. Just a little longer.
