1. I am pissed, and I support Randi in this
She was not on air and, in fact, the event was closed once they sold all of the tickets, which were fairly limited. This happened two weeks ago and no one said anything until yesterday. My hunch is that Hillary's people had something to do with it -- Mark Greene is a big Hillary supporter.

Yes, Randi can get a little raw sometimes, but she isn't afraid to speak out. That's part of what I love about her -- her honesty and fearlessness.

If they fire her, I'll have to seriously consider whether or not I'll keep listening. Thom Hartmann is really the only other Air America show I listen to per se, and I like him a lot. Stephanie Miller is not Air America. We don't get Rachel Maddow here (which is a bummer). I only listen to Ed in the car, and he's not Air America. I listen to Bill Press in the morning, but I'm not sure if he's Air America (and I'm not crazy about him, but that's who happens to be on when I get ready for work).

I think AA is shooting themselves in the foot over this. The audience seems to be fairly split on whether they did the right thing, but many of those who think they did are already not listening to Randi. They'll lose those who disagree with them if they don't bring Randi back.

That's my opinion.

2. I agree with you
that Hillary's finger prints are all over this one. I was not aware that this happened 2 weeks ago. It's not enough to try to take down the party, now she will take down AAR if they lose Randi, although I do think that Rachel Maddow is the star of that network. I've never trusted the Clintons, just another reason not to IMHO.

3. I adore Rachel, too, and I hate that we don't get her locally anymore
I wish she was back on in the mornings instead of Bill Press. I wonder how long it will be before she has her own show on MSNBC and will leave AAR on her own.

5. I don't like him, but I actually think he's been fairly even-handed
through all this. I get the feeling he supports Hillary, but he's not in your face about it. To his credit, he has tried to appear neutral.
