What is the minimum age to be Governor of Massachusetts anyone know??
We need someone new, someone who can self finance and someone with a different resume....Affleck is as good a place to start IMHO.

8. requirements for governor

I found the Mass. constitution at http://www.mass.gov/legis/const.htm

Here's all I can find about requirements for governors. The parts in braces have since been amended or removed, thankfully:

Article II. The governor shall be chosen {annually}; and no person shall be eligible to this office, unless at the time of his election, he shall have been an inhabitant of this commonwealth for seven years next preceding; {and unless he shall at the same time, be seised in his own right, of a freehold within the commonwealth of the value of one thousand pounds; and unless he shall declare himself to be of the Christian religion.}

It's interesting that one has to have lived here for seven years -- does that apply to Decaf? But there appears to be no age requirement.
