I think we better warn VA DUers...Laurie Letourneau is headed their way
Most of us in MA know her, but for those who don't, Laurie Letourneau is head of Mass Voices for Traditional Marriage, which is basically a rabidly anti-gay hate group that is incensed at the fact that MA has legalized gay marriage. She is "disgusted" with MA now, because we are so "morally bankrupt" and plans to move to Virginia where she can push her anti-gay hate agenda with less resistance.

This is but a taste of Ms. Letourneau's insanity, unfortunately.

2. Yikes!
We've got enough of that hateful shit here in Ohio, I sure as hell hope she doesn't come here as well! And my condolences for having to deal with that. Poor Virginia! Unfortunately, she's right, though, she'll get a much more favorable reception in that state.

5. With that last name, you gotta wonder if she believes that...
...marriage should consist only of one male and one female, even if the male happens to be in the sixth grade and the female is his 35-year old teacher. :freak:

7. Bring her on: We've actually got worse to worry about.
Our Repigs want to make it mandatory to report all sorts of things about miscarriages...within 12 hours after that trauma. They're toast for this (happened before when a Repig Sen. candidate opposed abortion, Coleman). Warner will veto this miscarriage law plus we already have truly offensive, Repig generated, anti gay stuff. Send her on to Florida or something.

9. NOOOO!!!! MY GOD!!! NOOOOO!!!!! Don't send her to Florida.
Haven't we had enough to contend with?

1. Anita Bryant did her ugly on gays in Florida during the seventies (consequently, she ruined both her career and her marriage with her hate).

2. We already have Jeb Bush here.

3. And Katherine Harris.

4. Someone just posted that Karl Rove has bought a house here.

5. We are still recovering from the four hurricanes we had in August and September of last year.

6. Tourism is suffering due to the triple whammy of high gas prices, poor economy, and the hurricanes.

Sigh. Florida used to be a nice place. Paradise is getting more than its share of snakes these days. We don't need anymore, thank you very much.

10. 1monster, sorry for my flip remark; no offense intended!
I love Florida and have spent a lot of time there in Miami and Orlando. Both great places, great people. I was just kidding. Sorry! I guess we can keep her her for a while. She can hang with Jeffy Falwall in Lynchburg and feel right at home.
